The summer of 1983 marked the release of the first pickerel fingerlings raised by the Loring Restoule Vacationland's enhancement program. The successful program is a continuing project specifically designed to improve walleye fishing in area waters, including the Pickerel and Caribou water system. Long recognized as one of Ontario's finest walleye areas, we are now assured of future fish stocks and years of successful angling.
